Upon arrival to the hotel, we've already noticed that the area was not what we had originally percieved through the internet information. The hotel staff were ok but what was upsetting to us that with the amount the hotel charged for the night, it was definitely not worth another visit. We came across several issues. one, we had ordered room service from a restuarant that advertised in the hotel room. Aparently, the number of our room on the phone was incorrect so when i placed the order it was delivered to another room. I had given the restaurant our full name and they said that they had asked the staff if our room was correct and they say yes. after waiting for over 2 hours and calling the restaurant they said that they were at the hotel 2x's and nobody was in the room. i therefore called the reception staff and they apologized but i feel that if they had the room number correctly on the phone to match the door than all of this would not have happened. Then again for the room rate, we could hear everyone taking showers all hours of the night and morning. it was not a very good experience for us. we will not do it again. It's sad because we must go to va beach once a month and we would have liked to find a hotel where we could continue to use. Thank you.
