SUN COUNTRY INN - YAKIMA (WA) - US
This hotel was nice. Kitchenette in the room and a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

 PRINCE HOTEL - YILAN () - TW
We did not know what to expect but had heard tales of surly desk clerks etc. Our experience at the Prince relieved any fears we had. The staff was always helpful and most spoke English. The room, as predicted, was very small and worn, but was clean and quiet (the double windows overlooking Avenue Bosquet can be opened to drink in the Paris atmosphere but when closed the sealed windows keep out most noise. ) The shower had no curtain but then we didn't have to clean the bathroom so not our problem. Towels were changed everyday. Only one night was disturbed with upstairs guests doing exercises or something but quiet by 11 PM was the norm.! Location at Metro stop Ecole Militaire gave us great access to the whole city which we used constantly to go out to dinner and sightsee. We walked to Rue Cler close by to shop and eat at the Cafe du Marche and others. Neighborhood was perfectly safe at all hours and easy access to ATM's and pharmacies too. For the price it cannot be beat.

 PRINCE HOTEL - YILAN () - TW
Superb and unbeateable location. Excelent and friendly staff (which includes a lovely and sleepy Golden Retriever named Popcorn!)

Hotel is just what TA has reported in previous reviews: Clean, safe, well located, and small. Yes, rooms are small. Do not fool yourself with the "traveler bad luck" and "they will give me a larger room". All rooms are small, but does it matter at all?

You can sleep confortably and take a hot shower. Room has some amenities like AC, Hair Drier (very old), TV, a small elevator (you need to choose whether you or your luggage will use the elevator) and plenty of hot water. Besides the size, everything was OK.
It is also good for travelers because they have a luggage room where you can drop your heavier stuff while visiting France.

Forget the breakfast. There are countless cheaper croissant + expresso oportunities around the Hotel.

 PRINCE HOTEL - YILAN () - TW
The hotel is in a great location. Very close to the metro and walking distance to many great places. Lots and lots of restaurants and shops very close.

The room was a little small but this is to be expected with hotels in Paris. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Great for the price!

We'd stay here again and tell our friends about it.

 PRINCE HOTEL - YILAN () - TW
This hotel is just as most have described it, super small but in a great location. My husband and I had a great time in Paris and the Prince was just what we were looking for in a little weekend trip. Yes, our room was tiny but it was just fine for what we needed. We had a tiny terrace that opened up to the street that was very cute. The room was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful in planning our sightseeing schedule. Just make sure you get the older woman who speaks great English. The man who was at the desk when we arrived home later at night did not understand our English very well at all but he tried.

We did not partake in the hotel's 8 Euro a person breakfast and were glad we didn't as there are so many cute little cafes right around the hotel where we could eat for around the same price or cheaper. Overall we had a good experience at the Prince. Just remember when everyone repeats how small the rooms are - it's no lie. But if you're ok with it then it's a great little place a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower. Would definitely return.

 PRINCE HOTEL - YILAN () - TW
The best thing about this hotel is it's location - right across from the Ecole Militare Metro stop; on the edge of the Champs du Mars and therefore close to the Eiffel Tower; a short stroll to the charming Rue Cler market and shops; close to Les Invalides and in the midst of many cafes and convenience markets. The ONLY good thing about the room was the very convenient mini-bar, in which we stashed our delicious Mamie Nova yogurts, pates and cheeses for nibbling.

The downside? The room (and indeed, the whole hotel) was incredibly rundown. It's obvious that the management is working on a shoestring budget - the ceiling and walls were water-stained, the bedspread was worn and ripped, the towels were few and threadbare, and we were literally reduced to swiping the soap we needed off the maid's trolley whenever we saw it, as they never gave us any soap!

The worst thing about the room, however, was the bathroom. It was literally so small that you couldn't sit on the toilet properly! (Sorry for the graphic description, but really, doesn't everybody expect to at least be able to use the "facilities" comfortably?!) It was ridiculous! I've stayed in quite a few European hotels in my day, and I know that room sizes are on the small side, but this was absolutely unacceptable.

Of course, if you're in Paris, you're not going to be in your room very much, so if you just want a place to stash your luggage, take a quick shower and crash every night, the location is all you really care about....but if you ask me, the far better kept and far more charming Hotel de Champs du Mars, about a block away, is a far better (and even less expensive!) choice, or the Hotel Grand Leveque on the Rue Cler.

Americas Best Value Inn - YUMA (AZ) - US
I found the accomodations decent enough albeit quite small in the room itself. the floors turned my feet (and my 4 yr. olds' feet too) pitch black. i was situated in the back of the hotel and while the parking was adequate, in the morning, a construction crew that is residing there made quite a loud departure at 0500 hours or so. not the way i want my twin infants, or myself for that matter, awoken. i could have been better served spending a few more dollars and staying across the way at the radisson. however, it served it's purpose for the night.

BEST WESTERN BONANZA INN - YUBA CITY (CA) - US
The hospitality of the bonanza inn was limited; when i spoke to maid services the lady on the other end of the line was very cranky and short with me. I was not very pleased with the time i spent there. The room was adequite and the area was centralized but that was overshadowed by the attitude of the service.

York-Days Inn Conference Center - YORK (PA) - US
This hotel was atrocious. My boyfriend and i (both in our mid twenties) were treated like high school seniors just out for a quickie. The first room we had was missing a tv, the only evidence that there ever was one being a black metal tray with some loose screws and an allen wrench on the table. The second room was slightly better, but upon unpacking a condom wrapper fell out of the covers. I was so disgusted i slept in my clothes on top of the bed. When i mentioned this to the concierge in the morning, no efforts were made to console me or refunds given. not even coupons for a later stay in a days inn to attempt to retain my business. This hotel was just plain awful and i will never stay in a days inn again, and i will be sure to continue to tell friends and family about my stay there.
