Nous sommes descendus récemment au Regency Suites et avons été très impressionnés. L’hôtel est juste en face d’une station du MARTA ce qui facilite les trajets pour l’aéroport et dans la ville. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable et sympathique. Notre chambre était spacieuse et très propre et l’hôtel offrait gracieusement un petit déjeuner continental, des journaux, et l’accès internet. On entend un peu le bruit de la circulation, mais cela n’empêche pas de dormir. Dans l’ensemble, c’était un bon choix et nous y retournerons sûrement la prochaine fois que nous irons à Atlanta.

Two colleagues and I stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip to Atlanta. We were doing a project for the city government, so they got us the government rate which was excellent. I was a bit wary because even without the government discount the prices were lower than other hotels in the area. But I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are nicely decorated and big. Each has a small kitchenette, large bedroom area with sofa, and good sized dressing area. They serve a complimentary continental breakfast as well as dinner. The breakfast is pretty standard and I didn't get to sample the dinner. The location was good for our purposes since it was walking distance from some good restaurants and a quick cab ride to the government offices we were working in. My only complaint was that the room door didn't block out light from the hallway so I had to line the bottom of the door with towels to keep light out. Great value, nice rooms.

Nothing that was promised us! I called the day prior to check in to verify our room (King Suite) and to ask for a champagne bucket and glasses. I had to leave a message regarding the bucket/glasses and asked specifically for a call back if the request could not be accommodated. When we checked in, we were told there were no king rooms available and the manager would only say "they" should have told us rooms were offered on a first-come first-served basis only. When we asked about the bucket/glasses, the manager said "they" should have called us back to tell us they didn't have champagne buckets and glasses. Noone bothered to find offer any kind of help. We found another hotel room and left! Absolutely no customer service!!! Will definately not book here again. By the way--parking is absolutely horrendous! Tiny underground spaces with no room to maneuver.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are much larger then the standard Holiday Inn and that class of hotel. My room had a kitchenette. I believe all the rooms have them. I had to unplug the refrigerator because the motor was so noisy. The room was clean but far from spotless. The only major complaint I had with his hotel is the staff. When checking in they did not make you feel welcome. If seemed to be a bother when they checked us in. There are 3 computers in the lobby. On Saturday when I came down to use a computer one of the 2 computers were being used janitors. I would go back though.

We booked two rooms for two nights in October for us and two boys aged 16 and 10, and we got adjoining twin and double rooms. The Hotel was easy to find, a few blocks back from the Promenade des Anglais, and well enough located to be within walking distance of the sea, the gare sncf, the shops, the Cour Saleya etc. It was well presented, clean, competent, and did not disappoint. The staff were helpful and courteous. The high point (literally) is the top floor restaurant, roof terrace and plunge pool (not quite big enough to really swim in). We had the buffet breakfast, which more than delighted our boys who ate plentifully. The hotel may be called Splendid, but I suppose it does not sound right to call yourself Hotel Better Than Average ... We have put Nice on our list of cities to go back to, but for the attractions of the city, not especially to stay in this hotel.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Hotel Splendid - Nice. I took the advice of a previous reviewer and asked for a newly refurbished room, which we got. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was on the 8th floor and had panoramic views over Nice and the hot buffet breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. I also used the jaccuzzi which was very hot and relaxing after a day exploring the area. The hotel has a great location close to the Promenade des Anglais, restaurants and buses. The tourist information office is also close and supplied us with maps and bus timetables. Getting around is cheap and easy. We visited Monaco, Cannes and St Paul, a beautiful old town with narrow cobbled streets. I would certainly recommend this hotel and Nice.

I have just returned from a delightful stay at the Hotel Splendid - Nice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Be sure to ask for a newly refurbished room, as I understand certain floors still have the older decor. The restaurant was on the 8th floor and had panoramic views over Nice. The hot buffet breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. The Reception staff were very friendly and could not have been more helpful, supplying us with maps, bus/train timetables and information on local attractions.. All the staff including bar/housekeeping/restaurant were all very helpful and friendly.The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the sea /shops/restaurants and situated in a quiet/safe residential area .Buses to all locations were within a short walking distance. I would be happy to recommend this hotel, and will definately return.
